Outside the emergency response

Outside an emergency response our international team will work to scale up the initiatives that work, create future focused humanitarians and share real time evidence and learning.

We’re building the world’s first humanitarian innovation roster to identify and mobilise existing capacity to meet staffing needs, linking local and global resources and bringing together private sector, academic, and humanitarian response expertise.

We’re building humanitarians of the future and a future-focused sector. We will be curating training and capacity building around the newly emerging discipline of humanitarian innovation.

Making sure we scale up what works with the right organisations, networks and alliances so that the solutions are seen and effectively utilised in other contexts.

We’re launching an evidence and learning dissemination platform to broker knowledge for curating and sharing real-time evidence and learning.

"The nature of an innovation is that it will arise at a fringe where it can afford to become prevalent enough to establish its usefulness without being overwhelmed by the inertia of the orthodox system."
