Parents spend a lot of time and money traveling to the bank to queue up to pay school fees. This increases the risks of parents being exposed to COVID-19. Powellpay created a smart digital escrow wallet for schools. The virtual wallets enable schools to receive fee payments from parents by automatically transferring the fund to the School’s registered bank account.
Parents at their convenience pay school fees by using a USSD code or the Powell Pay app from their mobile money accounts to the School’s account. For Schools and parents, these transactions are completed conveniently and adhere to the COVID-19 SOPs.
