NW Syria Lab Launched the Innovation WASH Club

The NW Syria Lab just concluded a two-day workshop from October 9 - 10, convening 24 experts representing INGOs, LNGOs, a law firm, service providers from the private sector, and Third-Party Monitoring (TPM). The convener event aimed to address the challenge of poor sanitation management within the WASH response in NW Syria.

We facilitated the workshop using Design Thinking tools and a human-centered design (HCD) approach. The participants agreed on the critical need to improve access to credible and accurate data regarding sanitation facilities in Northwest Syria, along with the absence of reporting mechanisms and communication channels with communities and households.

Response Innovation Lab has been committed to establishing the Innovation WASH Club as a coordinated and dedicated platform. Moving forward, the convener participants, now collectively committed as part of the Club, will mobilize their resources and bring innovations to enhance the WASH response in NW Syria.

We are actively looking for partnership to amplify the impact. Looking to collaborate? Please contact our NW Syria Lab Manager Yaman Sarraj at yaman@responseinnovationlab.com
