The Pears Program for Global Innovation featured the Response Innovation Lab on World Refugee Day. The article speaks to RIL’s work in developing a strong ecosystem for humanitarian innovations to survive and thrive in specific emergency contexts, as well as highlights local Uganda innovator Akaboxi. The RIL’s work with Akaboxi supports refugees in building financial credit and safety in a market that doesn’t currently allow for access to displaced peoples.
